The Launch Torbi Pioneer Academy and Women Empowerment Program in Turbi on 22nd October 2024

It was a great achievement for our organization Qabale Duba Foundation that we officially launched our already existing school and the women empowerment program. The momentous occasion took place in Turbi as we celebrate three significant milestones in our journey towards education and community empowerment:

Launch of our School

We are excited to officially introduce to our guests and the global community to our already thriving institution called Torbi Pioneer Academy that is existing for seven years, dedicated to providing quality education and shaping the future of our community in Torbi.

Women Empowerment Program

We are proud to announce the culmination of our adult literacy and empowerment program. This initiative, focused on fostering growth and independence, is a testament to the strength and determination of women in our community. Since its inception our adult literacy program has impacted more than 80 women get basic literacy skills. We are officially graduated 27 women from the literacy program on that day.

Graduation Ceremony for PP1 and Grade 3 Children

We celebrated our first ever graduation ceremony to celebrate the accomplishments of our young learners in PP2 children as they complete the pre-primary school to join the lower primary and Grade 3 joining the upper grades. Their dedication and success have been a source of pride for all of us. As the only private school in the entire region we introduced graduation for PP2 in our school to teach our people importance of education and make them visualize about future where their children will complete university educations and graduate with various degrees in any universities in the world.

This event marks a significant milestone in our journey of providing quality education and opportunities to children, women and the broader community. Through this program, we aim to empower women with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to improve their livelihoods and participate more fully in society.

The event started at 9:00 am on 22/10/2024, the venue was Torbi Pioneer School, Turbi.

We were honoured to have the presence of Hon Linah Jebii Kilimo as our guest speaker, Our area Member of Parliament for North Horr Constituency Hon Wario Guyo Adhe and other dignitaries to grace the occasion.

Community members turned up in large numbers to celebrate with us the great initiative of empowering the society through education.
